I'm Akis Apostoliadis - Digital Product Designer, UX Designer, Certified AI Consultant
based in Athens, Greece.
My biggest passion is creating digital products that people actually want to use.
I started designing digital products back in 2000. Over the past 26 years I've worked with SaaS companies, enterprise teams, and early-stage startups - helping them reduce friction, increase AI adoption, and ship products that perform in the real world.
My approach is prototype-first and research-grounded. I don't believe in month-long discovery processes that produce slide decks no one reads. I believe in getting something tangible in front of users fast - and iterating hard from there.
My work spans a wide range of domains: Designing data dashboards, AI-powered interfaces, mobile apps, design systems, AI Consulting and UX training. What connects them is a focus on the moment when a person sits down with a product and either gets it - or doesn't.
When I'm not designing, I'm teaching. I run AI and UX workshops for product teams and work with companies building their internal AI & UX design capabilities. I'm particularly focused on how generative AI is changing the design process - not as a replacement for designers, but as a tool that changes what's possible in the time available.
